Job summary

Episcopal Community Services (ECS) is seeking a Residential Services Coordinator to support shelter participants through intake, orientation, and routine safety oversight at program sites. This fully onsite, client-facing role requires compassionate engagement and adherence to ECS policies to maintain a safe, dignified environment.

You will document shift activities, coordinate with case management, and participate in daily staff meetings while upholding confidentiality and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and ethics in social services.
• Active listening, problem-solving, and crisis resolution abilities are essential.
• Intermediate computer skills, especially MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform resident intake, orient participants, and monitor safety on floors.
• Maintain shift reports, logs, and program documentation.
• Respond to participant requests with dignity and courtesy, and refer to case management as needed.
• Attend shift change meetings and training as required.
