Job summary

A New Leaf, Inc. is seeking a Program Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at the Faith House Emergency Shelter in Glendale, AZ.

You will supervise shelter staff, ensure trauma-informed, participant-centered services, and maintain compliance with policies, licensing standards, and funding requirements. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Behavioral Health, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in domestic violence services or related human services programs.
• Experience supervising staff or coordinating day-to-day operations.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, crisis intervention, and community resources.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Model trauma-informed, participant-centered practices while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Complete participant intake, crisis intervention, safety planning, and assessments.
• Develop and update FOCUS Plans with participants.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case files in line with requirements.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, supervision, and coaching of shelter staff.
• Recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations in collaboration with HR.
• Ensure compliance with policies, licensing, funding, and confidentiality.
• Oversee daily shelter operations, safety, and facility conditions.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with participants, staff, and community partners.
