Job summary

Trinity Health’s Pittsburgh Mercy shelter seeks an experienced leader to oversee daily operations, ensure a safe and welcoming environment, and coordinate service delivery for clients experiencing homelessness.

You will supervise staff, manage intake and case coordination, and collaborate with community partners to expand resources while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Requires excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience in homeless services or related support programs is preferred.
• Ability to manage crisis situations with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shelter operations, client intake, bed assignments, and service coordination.
• Lead and develop shelter staff; provide onboarding and ongoing training.
• Develop and implement client support programs including case management and crisis intervention.
