Job summary

CAPSA is seeking a Shelter Assistant in Logan, Utah to support daily shelter operations and readiness. The role involves inventory management, room preparation for new arrivals, and maintaining organized spaces throughout the facility. It is not desk-based and requires movement around the shelter.

Qualifications

• Experience in shelter services or residential programs or similar environments preferred.
• A degree is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of food, bedding, and shelter supplies.
• Restock essential items and prepare rooms for new arrivals.
• Maintain organized common areas and storage spaces.
• Coordinate facility concerns with Shelter Director and Facilities Director.
• Support shelter meetings, complete required documentation and reporting.
