Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency is seeking a Site Assistant I to support shelter operations at ARCHES Project sites in Polk and Marion counties. The role includes cleaning, laundry, client engagement, data entry, and navigation to resources within a grant-funded, full-time position.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in public or social services, plus required certifications.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of work experience in a public or social services role.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Candidate must pass MWVCAA background screening.
• Basic Life Support/First Aid Certification within 30 days.
• Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings required.
• Knowledge of serving homeless or at-risk populations preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide program support: cleaning, site upkeep, laundry, and supportive services.
• Engage clients and assist with navigation to resources.
• Assist with meal preparation and distribution.
• Facilitate access to guest laundry and computers.
• Open and distribute mail; handle outgoing mail.
• Apply de-escalation techniques during incidents.
• Support ARCHES Project programs and services.
• Assist HMIS data entry and client follow-ups.
