The Center for Human Development (CHD) in Springfield, MA is seeking new team members for our Diversion, Shelter and Housing Programs. You will provide direct services to clients living in one of three shelter models and supervise participants daily.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with homeless populations, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have a valid driver’s license. Bilingual Spanish or Haitian Creole speakers are encouraged to apply.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience working with a homeless population.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for others.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license; able to maintain boundaries.
• Background records screening completed and passed.
• Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish or Haitian Creole are encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Constant supervision of participants within the shelter.
• Motivate participants to maintain apartment/house upkeep.
• Monitor participants adhere to agency guidelines and safety rules.
• Encourage communication with caseworker, employment specialist, and housing specialist.
• Adhere to CHD standards and procedures.
