Project Renewal is seeking a Director of Social Services to oversee the New Providence Women’s Shelter program located at the Ramada Inn. You will lead clinical and social service operations, ensuring quality, compliance, and coordinated care for women facing homelessness and co-occurring disorders.

Under the Shelter Director, you will supervise staff, liaise with DHS and OTDA, coordinate service delivery across medical, psychiatric and housing teams, and drive continuous program improvement.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in social work or related field is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience working with homelessness/mental illness and/or other special needs populations; 1 year supervisory.
• Ability to manage and motivate staff to accomplish program goals and objectives; develop team skills.
• Ability to evaluate and manage program performance using data (PEQA collaboration).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and deliver the overall coordination and delivery of human services to shelter clients.
• Serve as liaison between the shelter and DHS/OTDA and ACT Team; coordinate with medical, psychiatric, and social service staff.
• Supervise intake, ensure documentation and rights-provisions are given to clients.
• AttendScheduled DHS meetings and report on clinical issues; ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare statistical and reporting requirements for DHS/DOHMH.
• Guide Housing Specialist in their processes and DHS submissions.
• Provide staff development through meetings, supervision and in-service education.
• Available on call for clinical emergencies.
