Bay Area Turning Point, Inc. is seeking a Children’s Services Manager to supervise the shelter’s childcare program, ensuring quality services for child victims and survivors of family violence. This exempt role reports to the Shelter Director and requires flexible hours, including weekends.

The position involves leading staff, coordinating with partners, and maintaining documentation while supporting families through crisis and ongoing services.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 1-year of prior childcare experience.
• Minimum of 1-year prior experience in management.
• First Aid Certification/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification within the specified timeframe.

Aufgaben

• Supervise childcare/children’s services program to ensure adequate services for child victims/survivors.
• Provide guidance to childcare providers on interpersonal and engagement issues with children, parents, and volunteers.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies; develop and update childcare procedures as needed.
• Oversee parent orientation and child assessment processes within set timeframes.
• Assist with parenting resources and guidance on child development and appropriate discipline.
• Monitor project outcomes and implement program enhancements.
• Coordinate school enrollments and transportation to schools; inform parents of Texas education requirements.
• Manage weekly childcare schedule and calendar; build external partnerships for the program.
