Job summary

Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS is seeking a skilled sheet metal fabricator to join the 22 Sheetmetal team. Will fabricate and install ductwork, venting systems, exhausts, containers and instrumentation panels, reading blueprints and using shop mathematics.

Requires a minimum of four years of sheet metal experience; nice to have ability to operate brakes and shears, read marine blueprints, and work from standard and metric specs.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of four (4) years of sheetmetal experience or related craft experience in joiner, shipfitting, and/or carpentry.
• Nice to have the ability to set up and operate a variety of sheetmetal machines such as brakes and shears, pass a skill assessment test, ability to read marine blueprints, and work from standard and metric specifications.

The Role
