Job summary

Environmental Air Systems in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced HVAC metal installer. You will assemble and install metal insulated panels, ductwork, and roofing components according to technical drawings and project specs.

You will read architectural and ductwork drawings, coordinate with crane operators and teammates, and ensure precise alignment and safe execution in varying work conditions. Five years of sheet metal experience preferred.

Qualifications

Understand all aspects of HVAC installation.
Lay out duct for installation and coordinate with team.
Read duct work drawings & architectural drawings to locate rooms and elevations.
Knowledge of welding and fabrication of supports for equipment.
Knowledge of air flow of HVAC systems (Supply, Return & Exhaust).
Follow safety policies and regulations and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install metal insulated panels and ductwork per project requirements.
Bend and wrap metal flashing around columns as needed.
Install corrugated metal roof decking.
Interpret blueprints and use them to guide fabrication and assembly.
Communicate discrepancies in blueprints to team lead.
Ensure precise measurements and alignment of siding, ducts, and roofing.
Collaborate with multi-trade teams to create functional wall structures.
