SPC Mechanical is seeking a Sheetmetal Helper II to assist field mechanics with layout, alignment, and assembly of sheet metal systems. You will handle tools and materials, help with installation tasks, and maintain a safe, organized work area.

The role requires initiative, reliability, and a willingness to learn while adhering to safety standards and quality expectations. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience, own hand tools, and OSHA 10 certification.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in sheet metal or related field.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different sheet metal systems.
• Reliability in attendance and punctuality.
• Positive attitude and strong morale on-site.
• Own hand tools to perform tasks.
• OSHA 10 certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Holds, positions, and reads tape to assist in layout.
• Places and moves equipment and materials.
• Positions and turns clamps; screws, bolts, and hammers together; uses tools properly (as required).
• Transports and furnishes mechanics with materials, tools, and supplies.
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment; stores tools and materials securely.
• Performs other routine duties; complies with safety rules.
