General Dynamics Electric Boat, Groton, CT, is seeking an entry level to semi-skilled Sheetmetal Worker. The role involves layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of light gauge metalwork including ductwork, lockers, cabinets, and bulkheads in support of submarine construction.

The position requires basic drawing interpretation and mathematical ability, with work in shop and shipyard environments. Candidates should be able to obtain a DOD secret clearance and be prepared for all shift

Formación

• Must have a High School Diploma/GED, be a current High School Senior OR 2+ years of relevant technical experience
• 0-5 years of relevant experience to this job description

Responsabilidades

• Must be able to work all shifts and in all environments as well as Radiological areas of the boat
• Willing to accept road job assignments
• Individuals are required to possess their own basic hand tools
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD secret clearance
