Job summary

Allied Printing Services in Manchester, CT is seeking a Second Pressman - Sheetfed to work with state-of-the-art sheetfed presses. In this role you will assist operators, help with press setup, monitor print quality, and support production to meet demanding deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in print industry client services, administrative support, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in account management, customer service, production planning, or estimating within printing or manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist printing machine operators in the press room.
• Load paper, hang plates, load and maintain ink in foundations.
• Monitor and adjust print quality, perform routine adjustments, and repair if needed.
• Monitor layouts, ensure correct paper is issued, assist in press setup (sheet size, coatings, blankets).
• Install, clean and adjust rollers.
