Job summary

Allied Printing Services Inc. Manchester, CT is seeking an experienced Lead Sheetfed Pressman to lead setup, operation, and optimization of multi-color sheetfed presses while ensuring quality and productivity.

The role requires strong color management, preventive maintenance, and the ability to mentor press assistants, coordinating with prepress and maintenance teams to meet customer specs and schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial sheetfed offset press experience
• Strong leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience with color management and press maintenance

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain multi-color sheetfed presses
• Review job tickets and verify materials and specifications
• Achieve precise color consistency using densitometers and color management standards
• Perform make-readies efficiently and minimize waste
• Monitor print quality and adjust during production
• Troubleshoot press issues and lead press assistants
• Coordinate with Prepress, Production Planning, Maintenance, and Quality teams
• Complete production documentation and inventory checks
