Qualifications

• 2년의 샷 메탈 가공 및 경험이 우대됩니다.
• 장비 작동의 안전하고 효율적 운영 이해가 필요하며 용접 인증은 우대이지만 필수는 아닙니다.
• Microsoft Office 소프트웨어에 대한 지식이 바람직합니다.
• 간단한 지시문, 짧은 서신 및 메모를 읽고 이해할 수 있어야 합니다.
• 간단한 서신을 작성할 수 있어야 합니다.
• 조직 내 다른 구성원에게 정보를 명확히 전달할 수 있어야 합니다.

Responsibilities

• HVAC 장비의 샵 환경에서 맞춤형 금속 부품을 설계, 제작, 설치합니다.
• 지정된 프로젝트의 맞춤형 수정 설계, 제작 및 설치를 담당합니다.
• 손 도구, 사진, 구두 지시를 사용해 시트를 금속 부품으로 가공하고 용접합니다.
• 완성도 높은 외관과 품질을 위해 부품에 페인팅 및 마감 작업을 수행합니다.
• 할당된 프로젝트의 조립 및 용접 요건을 예산 내에서 기한 내에 완료합니다.
• 필요 시 다른 분야 팀원과 협력하고, 관리팀 및 생산 샵 감독과 협력합니다.
• 작업 문서를 작성하고 작업 현장을 정리 정돈합니다.

What's in it for you

• Responsible to build custom engineered HVAC equipment in a shop environment utilizing equipment construction skills and knowledge of all facets of sheet metal fabrication, structural welding, and assembly, understanding of structural and sheet metal welding and installation of major and minor assemblies.
• Responsible for designing, fabricating, and installing custom modifications on assigned projects.
• Uses a variety of hand tools, pictures, and verbal instructions to fabricate sheet metal parts, weld sheet metal, weld structural components and frames, install all major/ minor mechanical and structural components in cabinets of HVAC equipment.
• Preps and paints components to create a finished, professional product.
• Completes assembly and welding requirements on assigned projects on time, with high quality, and within budget.
• Assists team members of other trades as needed; performs other trade work when needed.
• Prepares for assigned projects by examining project binders, consulting with the project manager and other technicians, trade team leaders and production shop supervisor, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating work, as necessary.
• Maintains tools and equipment by inspecting for signs of wear and performing any needed periodic maintenance.
• Maintains work area in neat, clean, organized manner.
• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job, including daily time, quality check sheets, Traveler, and parts logs.
• Maintains project files.
• Forwards all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner to the next production work center.
• Effectively works with purchasing and stocking personnel and returns unused resources.
• Identifies parts to order for construction, testing, and repair of equipment.
• Assists with general office and shop initiatives as needed, helping to improve the business while controlling expenses and increasing income.
• Works closely with other project technicians, temporary technicians, subcontractors, project managers, project engineers, trade team leaders, production shop supervisor and interns in a team environment, offering technical advice, status information, and other help as needed.
• Communicates effectively with project managers and teammates regarding issues of project scope and schedule.
• Attends, contributes to, and/or leads meetings with team members, salesmen, customers, and management as needed.
• Follows company standards for construction and quality.
• Follows company safety policies.
• Promotes company safety policies to team members and subcontractors.
• Provides technical support, service, or training at customer site when needed.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
• Flexibility to occasionally work in other company departments when needed.
• Flexibility to occasionally travel with occasional overnight stays.
• Participates and communicates new ideas and initiatives for the sheet metal team.

What you will bring

• Two (2) years sheet metal fabrication and experience preferred.
• An understanding for safe and efficient operation of all equipment required, welding certification(s) are preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to use a tape measure.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Valid driver's license.

Work Environment

This position requires working mainly in a typical semi-conditioned shop environment and occasionally in a typical conditioned office environment. The noise level in the shop environment is usually loud. The noise level in the office environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job required in the shop, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), and fumes or airborne particles created by welding grinding and painting activities. Occasionally, working outdoors, in mechanical/equipment rooms, in extreme weather conditions, and in areas with vibration is possible. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and high, precarious places.

Annual Salary Range
