West Star Aviation in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Sheet Metal Technician to join our FAA‑regulated MRO team. You will perform basic to advanced sheet metal operations, read blueprints, and work from drawings on turbine aircraft structures, with potential supervision of crews as needed.

This full‑time, on-site role requires a high school diploma (A&P preferred) and dependable transportation. We offer benefits from day one, 401(k) matching, weekly pay, and a supportive, small‑company culture

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; A&P license preferred.
• Basic to advanced knowledge of turbine aircraft structures.
• Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings.
• Knowledge of fastening systems and assembly procedures.
• Willingness to supervise crews when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintain, clean and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling as needed.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills to access training, manuals, and maintenance data bases.
• Communicate effectively in English and follow supervisor directions.
