Award Staffing is seeking a Sheet Metal Team Lead who will oversee fabrication operations, manage production schedules, and provide training. The ideal candidate will possess leadership qualities with substantial experience in sheet metal fabrication machines. • Vocational degree or 5 years' experience required.
• Solid work history and supervisory experience.
• Experience with machinery including Amada/Accurpress.

Responsibilities

• Assist workers engaged in the fabrication of metal products.
• Monitor production schedules and provide training.
• Perform tasks with Timesaver machine and deburr parts.

Sheet Metal Team Lead Requirements And Qualifications

• Degree or Certificate from a vocational school and/or 5 years of experience
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to be cross trained.
• Follow a production schedule and meet requirements.
• Provide and recommend training for team members.
• Provide feedback for team members.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities.
• Experience working with press brake and sheet metal fabrication machines including Amada/Accurpress, S-4, P-4, corner former and Apron Brake to shear, punch and form metal or other stock with ability to set up and operate.
• Solid work history.
• Lead or supervisor experience.
• Ability to lift 75lbs.
  
  

Sheet Metal Team Lead Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs any combination of tasks to assist workers engaged in fabrication of metal products.
• Loads, stocks, unloads, and moves or relocates all items as directed.
• Performs tasks as assigned which also include removing vinyl from metal, using Timesaver machine and deburring parts.
• Lifts, positions, and moves or relocates items as directed.
