Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations within the unit, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met.
  • Allocate resources including personnel, equipment, and materials to support activities and projects.
  • Ensure resources are utilized effectively and within budget constraints.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and with other departments or external stakeholders.
  • Organize and manage documentation such as schedules, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Support training and development of unit staff with guidance and resources.
  • Coordinate training sessions, workshops and other learning opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other units to meet customer needs and deliver quality services.
  • Assist in coordinating and executing projects within the unit with project managers and team members.
  • Collect and analyze data related to unit operations, performance metrics, and KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, or efficiency gains.

Job Purpose:

Overseeing and coordinating the activities and resources within a specific unit or department within an organization.

Experience:
  • Prior experience in operations management or related roles is beneficial; experience in administrative roles where organizational and coordination skills are utilized is valuable
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Operations Management or a related field
