Job summary

EPTA GROUP is seeking a Sheet Metal Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee operations, coordinate resources, and manage documentation within the unit. The role focuses on meeting deadlines, optimizing workflow, and aligning activities with budget goals.

The position emphasizes training and development of staff, cross-department collaboration, and data-driven improvement initiatives to deliver quality sheet metal services.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in operations management or related roles is beneficial; experience in administrative roles where organizational and coordination skills are utilized is valuable

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations within the unit, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met
  • Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support operational activities and projects
  • Ensure resources are utilized effectively and in alignment with organizational goals and budget constraints
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members within the unit, as well as with other departments or external stakeholders
  • Organize and manage documentation such as schedules, reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant materials
  • Support the training and development of unit staff by providing guidance, resources, and assistance as needed
  • Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities to enhance skills and competencies within the unit
  • Collaborate with other units or departments to meet customer needs and deliver quality services
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of projects or initiatives within the unit, working closely with project managers and team members to achieve objectives
  • Collect and analyze data related to unit operations, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, or efficiency gains within the unit

Job Purpose:

Experience
