Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned field supervision professional for Orlando-based construction projects. You will lead field installation efforts, coordinate crews, and ensure work aligns with design and contract scope.

Strong background in managing multiple crews, budgeting, scheduling, and safety is essential. Excellent communication and hands-on problem solving will drive on-time project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple crews on large projects.
• Projects with $500K+ value experience.
• 3+ years craft supervision in facility construction.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling and risk planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction for field installation on assigned project.
• Own field labor, labor coordination, quality control, and safety.
• Represent the company on site and ensure installation meets contract scope.
• Attend and contribute to project meetings.
• Plan-reading, coordination, layout, sketches and take-offs.
• Material, tool and equipment handling including ordering/receiving.
• Ensure drawings and specs align with contract scope.
• Respond to general contractor requests regarding our scope.
• Manage trades stacking and scheduling to influence project timeline.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing overall direction for field installation of assigned project.
• Own direct responsibility for field labor, labor coordination, quality control, and safety on assigned project.
• Representing the company on the project site and ensuring that the installation functions as designed and satisfies the contracted scope.
• Attend and contribute to various project meetings.
• Plan-reading, coordination, layout, sketching and materials take-off.
• Material, tool and equipment handling; which include: ordering, receiving, placing and returning.
• Contracts scope delineations; confirms that construction drawings and specifications agree with contract scope.
• Responds to general contractor's requests concerning our scope limits.
• Trades stacking and phasing and influences project scheduling.

Requirements

• Must have experience managing 5 or more crews of 2-3 workers each.
• Must have verifiable experience working on projects of $500K or more.
• Minimum of 3 years craft supervision experience in similar facility construction.
• Must have advanced knowledge of how jobs are assembled in the field.
• Must manage to the budget, plan to the schedule, plan for the unexpected, meet or exceed project deadlines, while keeping safety first.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
