Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing client seeks an experienced Sheet Metal Superintendent to lead HVAC sheet metal installation on commercial and industrial projects. You will oversee crews, read drawings, and coordinate with trades to keep projects moving safely and on schedule.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of HVAC sheet metal experience, 2+ years in a leadership role, and a proven ability to manage manpower, materials, and field deliveries while maintaining quality and safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC sheet metal experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• 2+ years in Foreman/General Foreman/Superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and construction documents.
• Strong understanding of OSHA and jobsite safety requirements.
• Proven leadership coordinating field crews and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead sheet metal foremen, crews, and subcontractors.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and daily/weekly work.
• Oversee HVAC ductwork and sheet metal installation.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate installation with mechanical, electrical, structural, controls, and other trades.
• Identify and resolve field conflicts and constructability issues.
• Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and schedule.
• Coordinate fabrication and material deliveries with field installation.
• Partner with Project Managers on manpower, progress, schedule, and field issues.
• Drive punch list, turnover, and successful project closeout.

We’re looking for a field leader who knows sheet metal, knows how to run crews, and can keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Lead sheet metal foremen, crews, and subcontractors


• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and daily/weekly work

What We’re Looking For

Preferred:

OSHA 30, Bluebeam/Procore/BIM experience, and experience with large commercial, industrial, healthcare, mission-critical, or data center projects.
