Job summary

E2 Mechanical & Industrial Refrigeration is seeking a seasoned Sheet Metal Superintendent to lead on-site crews for large-scale commercial and institutional HVAC construction in Charlotte, NC. This is not a development role; you will step in and lead from day one with 10+ years of field leadership experience.

You will manage crews, subcontractors, and materials to keep projects on schedule and budget. A strong mastery of blueprints, SMACNA standards, and duct welding is required for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as foreman or lead installer on commercial/institutional sheet metal/HVAC projects.
• Deep working knowledge of SMACNA standards.
• Experience running crews on large-scale commercial jobs.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform field math.
• Reliable transportation to Charlotte, NC 28216.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate crew, subcontractors, and equipment day-to-day.
• Read blueprints and plan work to keep the job moving efficiently.
• Weld grease duct and install ductwork/HVAC systems as needed.
• Keep communication open with GCs and project managers.
• Track attendance, delegate tasks, and hold the crew accountable.
• Help push projects through final inspections and Certificate of Occupancy.

We're looking for a seasoned Sheet Metal Superintendent with 10 + years of hands-on commercial/institutional experience to lead field crew for E2 Mechanical, a growing mechancial contractor working on large-scale commercial and institutional HVAC construction. THis is not an entry-level or developing-foreman role - we need someone who has already run crews and large projects and can step in and lead from day one.

What You'll Do

You'll be the go-to leader on site - directing crews and subcontractors, keeping projects on schedule and on budger, and jumpimg n to run duct and install ductwork/HVAC systems yourself when the job calls for it.

What You Bring

• 10 + years of experience as a foreman or lead installer on commercial /institutional sheet metal / HVAC projects - required
• Deep working knowledge of SMACNA standards
• Grease duct welding experience
• A track record of running crews on large-scale commercial jobs, not just residential or small-scope work
• Ability to read blueprints and specs, and solve field math on the fly
• A proven leader who isn't afraid to grab tools and work alongside the crew
• Relaible transportation to Charlotte, NC 28216 (driver's license preferred)
