Job summary

Kloeckner Metals Corporation seeks a reliable press operator to perform a range of duties in our manufacturing department in Pennsylvania. You will set up capacity punching, mechanical and hydraulic presses, run production work, and adjust tools to produce diverse sheet metal parts with tight tolerances.

You will inspect first articles, report defects, follow safety procedures, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up capacity punch, mechanical or hydraulic press for various operations.
• Check setup tightness of clamps and bolts.
• Inspect first piece and adjust as needed.
• Instruct operator in procedures and safety.
• Identify and correct faulty operation.
• Operate presses for special or production work as workload requires.
• Detect and report defective materials and unusual conditions.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and equipment.
• Follow prescribed safety regulations and perform other duties as assigned.
