Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors in Portland, OR is seeking a Project Manager for our sheet metal division to lead mechanical systems projects in healthcare, higher education, and other sectors. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and client relations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of PM experience in mechanical systems, a BS in Engineering or Construction Management, and strong communication and LEAN skills.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of project management experience in mechanical systems
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems
• Experience managing large-scale commercial projects (healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of assigned projects
• Coordinate with project team and field labor to meet safety, schedule, and quality goals
• Manage project budget and client relationships
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders
• Lead a team from engineers to superintendents and admin staff
