Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Machining/Sheet Metal Operator to run and oversee tools and machines used in forming, punching, and cutting metal parts. The role requires blueprint literacy, precision measurement, and basic math to verify tolerances.

You’ll input routing data on a computer, follow safety protocols, and contribute to a productive, quality-focused team environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma, ability to operate computerized equipment, and readiness for overtime

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Basic math skills including decimals to fractions conversion.
• Experience operating computerized, automated equipment.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet metal tools and machines (forming, punching, cutting) to produce parts.
• Use blueprints to select tooling and ensure part quality.
• Perform visual and systematic inspection of parts before and after operations.
• Input and retrieve routing/information on a computer; maintain safe, productive work habits.
