Qualifications

• Prior machine operation experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor machinery.

• Measure and inspect products for compliance with specifications and tolerances.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance.

• Follow all safety rules, OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Position Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery used in the fabrication and processing of steel components. This role ensures safe, efficient, and accurate machine operation while meeting quality standards and production schedules in a steel manufacturing environment.

1. Set up, operate, and monitor machinery used in steel fabrication or processing

3. Adjust machine controls, settings, and tooling as required for production runs
