Job summary

Engineered Cabs in Rochester, MN is seeking a motivated manufacturing lead to oversee workflow in the department. You will assist operators with set-ups and production on large brake press, turret, laser, and related equipment, ensuring accuracy of part dimensions and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include training new employees, assigning work, maintaining 5S, tracking quality and safety metrics, and using basic computer programs.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets manufacturing prints.
• Proficient with measuring equipment to verify print dimensions.
• Strong communication in English and team collaboration.
• Adheres to quality, safety, delivery and cost targets.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train new employees on equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Complete daily standard work and manage department tasks in supervisor's absence.
• Set up and operate equipment including Large Press Brake, Turret, Laser.
• Maintain a cellular workflow with parts replenishment (Kanban) and continuous improvement.
• Maintain 5S, track quality/safety/delivery/cost metrics, and report labor data.
• May assist in purchasing specialty tools as needed.
