Job summary

Fleet Engineers, part of the Tramec Holdings family, is seeking a skilled machinist to run and set up equipment in the Tech Cell, including Press Brake, Laser and Buffalo Rolls machine.

The role requires hands-on metalworking experience, blueprint reading, and the ability to log production data into Epicor. Hours are Monday to Friday, 2:30pm–11:00pm, with potential variation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience on Press Brakes, Lasers and CNC Milling Machines preferred.
• Computer data entry.
• Able to safely lift and handle up to 50 pounds overhead.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and able to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Aligns parts or positions them against fixtures on a machine.
• Stacks, racks, wraps, counts component or finished goods for placement onto skids.
• Inspects parts according to requirements.
• Use of calipers, tape measure, measuring fixtures and gauges.
• Ability to use computer to log production documentation into Epicor software.
• Ability to set-up and program Press Brakes, CNC Milling Machines, Fiber Optic Lasers & Rolls Equipment.
• Ability to trouble shoot and make machine adjustments to assure dimensional compliance of parts.
• Maintain production rate numbers and perform machine change overs in the appropriate time.
• Familiar with working with a variety of materials including, Steel, Galvanized Steel, Aluminum & Stainless.

Position Summary
