GA Systems, LLC in Orange, CA seeks a Press Brake Operator I to produce sheet metal parts using a press brake. You will read drawings, set up tooling, choose dies, and adjust settings to meet exact bend specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a High School diploma and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, and offers an hourly wage range of $22 to $25 with potential overtime. Teamwork, punctuality, and safety are essential in this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform setups in a stainless-steel fabrication environment.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings/blueprints
• Ability to adapt and adjust plans to meet changing needs.

Responsabilités

• Operate the press brake by setting up the machine, adjusting settings, and performing the bending.
• Interprets technical drawings to understand the desired shape, angle, and dimensions of the metal pieces.
• Chooses the correct dies, punches, and other tools needed for the specific job.
• Adjusts machine settings for material thickness and bend angles.
• Inspects finished pieces to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Maintains reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, dependable, and flexible to potential schedule changes to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
