Qualifications

• High School diploma and 5-7 years of related experience.
• Ability to perform setups in a stainless-steel fabrication environment.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
• Able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates the press brake by setting up the machine, adjusting settings, and performing the bending.
• Interprets technical drawings/blueprints to understand shapes, angles, and dimensions.
• Selects dies, punches and tools for each job and adjusts machine settings for material thickness.
• Inspects finished pieces for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Maintains safety procedures, PPE use, and reports unsafe conditions.
• Works effectively as part of a team and communicates status of work.
