Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or two years of trade school.
• Four years apprenticeship in sheet metal trades or five years related experience.
• Massachusetts Sheet Metal License - Master M1 or J1 Journeymen required.

Responsibilities

• Lays out, fabricates, assembles sheet metal products per drawings and specs.
• Install sheet metal ducts, vents and housings for facilities and equipment.
• Perform bench work: filing, grinding, sanding, buffing for fit and finish.
• Fasten joints with bolts, rivets, sealants and other fasteners.
• Maintain clean work area and adhere to safety rules.
• Notify supervision when major repairs are needed.
• Assist other maintenance staff on equipment and facility needs.
