MB HAYNES Corporation in Asheville NC is seeking a Sheet Metal Foreman to lead a HVAC sheet metal crew, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction on every project. You will guide journeymen, apprentices, and helpers while coordinating with supervisors, engineers, and inspectors.

Responsibilities include resolving construction issues with suppliers, attending meetings as needed, and promoting a positive work environment through strong relationship building with staff and clients.

Qualifications

• 5 years commercial experience in HVAC sheet metal operations.
• 1 year experience as HVAC sheet metal foreman preferred.
• Valid driver's license; pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Knowledge of HVAC sheet metal systems installation and safety PPE.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct HVAC sheet metal crew on daily tasks.
• Ensure job quality and customer satisfaction at every stage.
• Consult with supervision, engineering, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve issues.

Position Summary

• The Sheet Metal Mechanic Foreman is responsible for the day to day operations on assigned mechanical sheet metal tasks Provides guidance and direction to a HVAC sheet metal crew consisting of journeymen mechanics and apprenticeshelpers that are working under himher Ensures job quality and customer satisfaction is maintained at every project stage Consults with supervisory engineering personnel inspectors and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods Attends as needed all job site and office meetings related to assigned tasks and performs other job related duties as assigned Must have strong relationship building skills with staff clients customers and vendors to cultivate a positive work environment

Requirements

• Must have a valid drivers licenseMust pass criminal background check and pre employment drug screening5 years commercial experience in HVAC Sheet Metal operations or equivalent combination of vocational training and experienceOne year experience as a HVAC Sheet Metal foreman preferredMust have a positive and cooperative attitude and excellent attendanceMust be able to get along with fellow workers other tradesmen on the job site inspectors customers and the publicProperly use safety equipment and personal protective equipment PPEDemonstrate extensive knowledge of all HVAC sheet metal systems installation
