Job summary

Hillphoenix in the United States is seeking a focused Machine Operator II – Sheetmetal to fabricate and assemble sheet metal components. You will operate brake presses, lasers, punch presses, sanders, and deburring machines to meet part requirements for upstream departments.

You will read rulers and blueprints, follow written procedures, and ensure dimensions and quality meet specifications, while maintaining a clean, safe work area and supporting ongoing production.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and interpret work orders.
• Proficiency with rulers, calipers and gauges for sizing.
• Comfort with operating multiple sheet metal machines safely.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced factory environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet metal equipment such as brake presses and lasers to cut, bend and straighten parts.
• Fill part requirements for kitting and read blueprints and orders.
• Inspect finished pieces for conformance and measure with gauges.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep work area safe and clean.
• Adapt to different workstations as production needs change.
