Qualifications

• Must have completed an apprenticeship in Sheet Metal or Environmental Service Technician.
• Have a signed letter, on official letterhead, from local 18 Sheet Metal JATC approving your potential appointment.
• Must hold Journey-Level status in Sheet Metal/Construction or Journey level status in Environmental Service, or have a signed letter approving your potential appointment.
• Must embrace Standards of Teaching Excellence and MATC Career Essentials in development and delivery of instruction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and deliver instruction and perform teaching-related activities.
• Manage the classroom/laboratory.
• Develop curriculum and monitor and revise to maintain course effectiveness; assist in program evaluation.
• Manage equipment, supplies and materials.
• Assess student performance and advise students on academic issues.
• Collaborate with advisory committee in program area.
