Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or Vocational School Diploma is required.
• Certificate evidencing completion of a sheet metal apprenticeship (state MN issued).
• Five years of journey-level sheet metal experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and report on installations and alterations of sheet metal work to assure approved materials and workmanship.
• Order and enforce corrections on items not in compliance.
• Witness tests of mechanical installations, equipment, and materials.
• Interpret codes for typical and unusual situations.
