J.F. Sobieski Mechanical Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Sheet Metal Foreman to lead fabrication and installation of ductwork and HVAC systems on construction sites throughout the Delaware region.

You will supervise sheet metal crews, interpret blueprints, coordinate with project stakeholders, enforce OSHA safety standards, and drive on-time, on-budget performance while maintaining quality. The role requires strong leadership, deep sheet metal expertise, and a commitment to safety and efficiency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in sheet metal work, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, HVAC systems, and installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and construction site safety protocols.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and direct sheet metal workers in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of ductwork, HVAC systems, and other sheet metal components.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan work assignments and ensure accurate execution.
• Monitor daily progress, manage schedules, and coordinate with other trades and project stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance skills, productivity, and quality of work.
• Conduct quality inspections and troubleshoot issues to maintain high standards and resolve problems promptly.
• Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, and coordinate procurement as needed.
• Prepare reports on project status, labor hours, and material usage for management review.
