usi+ is seeking an HVAC Installer to join our Eastern Tennessee operations with travel across TN, KY, NC, SC, AL, and GA. The role involves rough-in to startup responsibilities, blueprint interpretation, system lay-out, fabrication, and installation in fast-paced commercial projects.

Candidates should bring 5+ years in sheet metal, leadership experience, and knowledge of SMACNA standards and building codes. Safety compliance and physical stamina are essential for this field role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sheet metal experience with 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficient in SMACNA standards and localized building codes.
• Experience with advanced rigging and coordinating with field teams.

Responsibilities

• Read Blueprints:Interpret architectural drawings, HVAC layouts, and structural specifications accurately.
• Lay Out Systems:Measure and mark locations for ductwork, equipment, and structural hangers.
• Fabricate & Install:Assemble, hang, or repair sheet metal products, HVAC duct systems
• Solve Problems:Troubleshoot mechanical, structural, or spatial conflicts on the job site.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce OSHA:Maintain strict compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Lead Toolboxes:Conduct regular safety meetings and hazard assessments with the crew.
• Inspect Equipment:Verify that all machinery, rigging, and personal protective gear are safe.

Physical Requirements

• Heavy Lifting:Lift and carry tools or materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strenuous Positions:Climb ladders, work on scaffolding, and bend or kneel for long periods.
• Environment Tolerance:Work comfortably in varying weather conditions, loud environments, and confined spaces.

• Field Experience:5+ years of sheet metal experience with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
