Job summary

United Services, Inc. in Eastern Tennessee is seeking an entry-level HVAC Installer Apprentice to install commercial heating and cooling systems, ductwork, and accessories under supervision.

The role involves travel to KY, NC, SC, AL, and GA about 20% and requires dependability and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. You will assist with startup, testing, and commissioning, follow IMC/NEC/OSHA standards, and document installations.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates welcomed.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing HVAC systems including heat pumps, gas furnaces, air handlers, condensers, package units, VRF systems and ductless systems.
• Assist with starting up, testing, and commissioning of new systems.
• Assist with pressure testing, evacuating, and charging systems according to manufacturer specs.
• Ensure all installations meet IMC, NEC (as applicable), and OSHA safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Complete required documentation and installation checklists.
• Follow company installation standards and best practices.

Position Summary
