Job summary
Modine Manufacturing Co. is seeking a Fabricator to join our CDI team, producing sheet metal HVAC components for diverse applications. You will set up jobs, fabricate parts, and read blueprints with precision.
We offer a 4 Day Work Week (Mon-Thu 5:00 am–3:30 pm), competitive wages, paid time off, and comprehensive benefits from day one. Candidates should have experience with sheet metal fabrication and the ability to lift 80 pounds.
Qualifications
- Experience fabricating sheet metal parts using fabrication tools and equipment.
- Shop courses or equivalent experience is helpful.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience including using small hand tools.
- Able to routinely lift 80 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate parts for sheet metal HVAC equipment casings using blueprints.
- Set up jobs and tooling in a manner conducive to safe and efficient operation.
- Fabricate parts using a laser, shear, punch or brake press.
- Use measuring tools accurately; including angle gauges, tape measures and Vernier calipers.
- Read blueprints and interpret dimensions and tolerances.
