Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company seeks a skilled Fabricator to join our team, fabricating sheet metal HVAC parts for various applications. You will set up jobs, operate laser, shear, punch or brake presses, and read blueprints to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances.

Day‑one benefits and a strong emphasis on safety and quality are provided. A minimum of 1 year of sheet metal fabrication experience and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Experience fabricating sheet metal parts using fabrication tools and equipment.
• Shop courses or equivalent experience is helpful.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience including using small hand tools.
• Able to routinely lift 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate parts for sheet metal HVAC equipment casings using blueprints.
• Set up jobs and tooling in a manner conducive to safe and efficient operation.
• Fabricate parts using a laser, shear, punch or brake press.
• Use measuring tools accurately; including angle gauges, tape measures and Vernier calipers.
• Read blueprints and interpret dimensions and tolerances.
