GEM Plumbing & Heating Services, LLC is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our Rhode Island workshop. The role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing sheet metal components per blueprints, and using shears, press brakes, and welding equipment to join parts.

Safety and quality are emphasized in a busy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of sheet metal fabrication experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work both independently

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or a related field.
• Proficiency in using metal fabrication tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of metal properties and welding techniques.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with HVAC ductwork fabrication (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in metal fabrication or welding is a plus.

The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment. Working Conditions

Environment

• Workshop or manufacturing environment with exposure to moderate noise levels and sharp tools.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
• Occasional evening, early morning, weekend, or holiday hours may be needed based on project demands.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures at times, depending on the project or workspace conditions.
