Job summary

Sub-Zero, Inc. in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Machine Operator for Fabrication/Sheet Metal on 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will form, punch, and assemble sheet metal using Strippit, Flatbed, Brake Press, and Laser equipment, with training on first shift as needed.

The role requires reading blueprints, using measuring tools, and maintaining quality through inspection. A high school diploma, 1+ years fabrication experience, ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and teamwork are required; a Windows computer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better.
• 1+ years of fabrication experience.
• Can read and understand blueprints.
• Experience using measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, protractor, square).
• Successful completion of fabrication entrance test.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Computer skills in a Windows environment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Forms or punches sheet metal on machines.
• Requirement to operate all machines: Strippit/Flatbed/Brake Press/Laser, etc.
• Sets up equipment and machinery for precise forming or punching.
• Accurately puts sheet metal into the machine.
• Visually and physically inspects product for accuracy and flaws.
• Other duties as assigned.
