Job summary

Unified Staffing & Recruiting – C is seeking a mechanically inclined individual to prepare products for shipment and assist in sheet metal fabrication. You will set up equipment, operate CNC punch presses, hydraulic brakes, and metal shears, and verify parts meet specifications.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, assembling components, inspecting quality, and packaging finished goods. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and adhering to safety guidelines throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn fabrication processes.
• Able to read blueprints, work orders, and shop drawings.
• Proficient with measurement tools (tape measures, calipers, squares).
• Basic math including fractional and decimal measurements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run sheet metal fabrication equipment including CNC punch presses and press brakes.
• Handle basic machine setups, tooling changes, and adjustments.
• Use blueprints and shop drawings to produce parts meeting specifications.
• Check finished parts for dimensions and quality with measuring tools.
• Pack finished goods for shipment and maintain records for receiving and shipping.
