Starflex Fabrication in College Park, GA is seeking a Sheet Metal Production Associate to support fabrication, material handling, and finishing tasks in a fast-paced shop environment. You will deburr, grind, sand, and clean components, organize parts for downstream operations, and help maintain orderly work areas with adherence to safety rules.

Experience in manufacturing or fabrication is preferred, with training provided for the right candidate.

• Sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus, training provided for the right candidate.
• Comfort using hand and power tools safely; ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to learn multiple areas of our manufacturing operation.

Responsabilités

• Support general sheet metal fabrication and production tasks in a fast-paced shop.
• Load, unload, move, and stage raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
• Remove laser-cut parts, sort, and organize them for the next operations.
• Deburr, grind, sand, and clean fabricated components.
• Prepare materials for press brake, welding, powder coating, assembly, and more.
• Match and separate parts according to routers and production paperwork.
• Assist departments across the shop to keep production flowing.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• Visual inspection of parts for damage or defects and report issues.
