Large Commercial Architectural Sheet Metal Company is actively seeking an Architectural Sheet Metal Estimator. Experience in Architectural and Roofing Related Sheet Metal and Wall Panel Systems desired but not required. Company is willing to train highly motivated individuals interested in learning this field with growing demand.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform job site survey
2. Perform take off calculations from specifications and drawings
3. Calculate cost estimates for time and material and repairs
4. Interface with other individuals in the organization to obtain support and commitment for scheduling of job completion
5. Maintain accurate and current records of expense reports, estimating reports, maintenance contracts and sales lead materials on a weekly basis
6. Determine material, labor requirements and prepare itemized lists
7. Negotiate service and repair strategies and value, address resistance
8. Effectively write and present proposals and close the sale
9. Prepare all required documentation
10. Scheduling and manpower allocation

Ideal candidate will possess:

1. Specialization in wall panels.
2. Experience in metal roofing, architectural sheet metal, estimating, and knowledge of manufacturing and construction processes
3. Drive, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
4. Excellent telephone, written and presentation skills.
5. The ability to work independently.
6. Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
7. Drafting skills are a plus.
