Job summary

InterMetro Industries is seeking full-time Production Associates for the Sheet Metal Assembly Department to work on various shifts. You will use hand tools and related equipment to assemble raw and semi-finished material into finished Metro products.

The role requires attention to detail and the ability to perform all department duties to support multiple functions. Selected candidates must complete screening and a probationary period of 400 working hours.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to perform all assembly duties within the department.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Assembles various components of Metro product to manufacture customized finished product.
Reads and interprets orders to ensure the finished product meets customer orders.
Uses computer to research product specifications.
Checks parts dimensions using a variety of measuring equipment.
Must have basic math skills.
Meets production and quality standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Cleans and maintains work area.
Must be available to work overtime as business needs dictate
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment
Regular attendance is required.
