Mechanical Systems Company, LLC in Memphis, TN is seeking motivated individuals to join as Sheet Metal Apprentices. This hands-on training program covers fabrication, assembly, and installation of sheet metal components used in HVAC systems, and you will learn the trade alongside experienced technicians to build a long-term career.

Starting pay is $17 to $25 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong interest in learning the sheet metal/HVAC trade.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist measuring, cutting, and assembling sheet metal for HVAC systems.
• Support installation of ductwork and related components.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and tools to job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards.

Starting Pay:

Position Overview

As a Sheet Metal Apprentice, you will assist in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of sheet metal components used in HVAC systems. You'll work closely with experienced technicians to learn the trade, develop technical skills, and contribute to successful project completion.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record
• Strong interest in learning the sheet metal/HVAC trade
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical job duties (including working in crawlspaces, attics, and on ladders)
• Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolding
• Prior experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus, but not required
