Job summary

Gentry Service Group, located in Swannanoa, NC, is seeking an HVAC Apprentice Installer to join our growing team. You will install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards and deliver a high-quality customer experience.

No industry experience is required but preferred; paid training is provided. Work hours are 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday with some overtime; pay is Up to $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and insurable by Company insurance carrier.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes.
• Prior HVAC experience or training is helpful.
• Good math/science aptitude.
• Tolerant of heights or close in spaces.
• Understand the basic principles of construction.
• Clean in appearance.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions as given, written and verbal.
• Basic Safety knowledge of tools and surroundings.
• Comply with ALL SAFETY RULES.
• Understand how to use a tape measure.
• Ability to work in close quarters and work off a 20" ladder.
• Unloading/Stocking supplies and Equipment.
• Unloading/Loading truck.
• Cut & drill holes.
• Insulate duct.
• Build platforms.
• Ability to fill out a daily timecard accurately.
• Possesses both written and verbal English language skills.

Job Title: HVAC Apprentice Installer
