Gentry Service Group in Swannanoa, NC, is seeking an HVAC Apprentice Installer to join our fast-growing team. You’ll install energy efficiency products, receive paid training, and help grow a lifetime career in a high-tech Green industry.

No prior HVAC experience is required, though it is preferred. Work hours are 7:30 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with some overtime. We offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and insurable by Company insurance carrier.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes.
• Prior HVAC experience or training is helpful.
• Good math/science aptitude.
• Tolerant of heights or close in spaces.
• Understand the basic principles of construction.
• Clean in Appearance.

Responsibilities

• Install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards, providing customers with a high-quality experience.
• Follow safety rules and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Unload/Load truck and stock supplies and equipment.
• Cut and drill holes; insulate ducts; build platforms.
• Fill out daily timecards accurately; communicate effectively in English.

Primary Job Function
