Job summary

Transcendia, located in Richmond, IN, is seeking an Assistant Operator to support the sheet extrusion process in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will assist the Extruder Operator and Lead Operator in preparing assets, operating equipment, and monitoring production to meet quality and efficiency targets.

This role requires reading SOPs, using a tape measure, and performing math calculations. A three-year forklift certification and ability to lift 50 pounds are expected, with a shift,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must read production MO’s and SOPs.
• Ability to use a tape measure and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow SOPs to meet production standards.
• Set up and operate sheet extrusion assets as per specifications.
• Unload and transport finished materials and scrap materials with lift trucks.
• Maintain forklift certifications and operate equipment safely.
• Record finished goods and ensure labeling and storage accuracy.
• Follow safety protocols and keep work area clean and organized.
• Communicate with peers and leadership to report issues and improve uptime.
